I take on a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. I don’t only offer nutritional advice. I also guide people in creating healthy lifestyle habits and achieving physical and psychological balance. In other words, in order to reach optimum health, we need to address sleep, stress, exercise, relationships, and work environments. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole. I examine your LIFESTYLE- not just your diet. I’m a firm believer in seeing clients as individuals, and tailor plans to suit them. After all, no two people are the same!
There is a ton of contradictory information out there and so many different types of diets. I know that it can get very confusing and overwhelming. That’s where I come in. Each of our bodies are unique, and it’s my job to help you figure out what food you need to feel your best. We will then come up with an eating plan that is not only nutritious, but also enjoyable and sustainable. There won’t be any dieting. Diets have an end date. A healthy lifestyle doesn’t. As your nutritionist, I’ll guide you in making gradual, sustainable changes that will forever improve your health and body image.
Nutrition is not low fat or low calorie. It’s not going on some crash diet and feeling deprived. It’s nourishing your body with real, whole foods, so that you are consistently satisfied and energized to live life to the fullest. My approach is not to dwell on calories and carbs. There will be no getting on a scale or use of a tape measure around your body. Instead, my program is structured around creating a positive, healthy relationship with the food you eat and your body. I work with my clients to create a beneficial plan that is flexible, fun and rewarding.
